Youngs appliance parts retailer is getting another lease deal with a company called Smartpower.
The deal with Smartpower means the appliance store can now sell appliances to consumers from its own network.
It is also getting another 20 per cent of sales revenue, as part of a larger deal that sees the company increase its workforce by two people.
It was announced last week that the store was being bought by New Zealand-based company Powerwave.
The company is a part of the new Energy Vision business, which will be launched later this year.
The announcement comes as the company looks to expand its business further in New Zealand and around the world.
It will be the company’s first overseas expansion.
The stores in Wellington and Whangarei are now being shut down.
They will close this weekend, the company said in a statement.
