Google has introduced a new Home Appliance that costs less than $30 and offers a Google Home-branded voice assistant.
The appliance is the second from Google in India and is the first to be manufactured in India.
It is designed to compete with home appliances from brands like Nest and GE.
The device features a “natural sound” system and Google Assistant as its voice assistant that can speak up to 40 languages.
It has a five-year warranty, which includes a two-year service agreement.
The appliance is available for Rs. 1,299.
The Home Appliances are available in two models: the first one has a 5-inch screen, a Bluetooth speaker, an HDMI and a USB port, while the second model has a 6-inch display and a 7-inch speaker.
The Home Appliants are also available with a 1.8-megapixel camera.
The Google Home appliances have a built-in battery and they come with an “Active” mode, which turns on when the user is connected to a Wi-Fi network, which Google says is “the most convenient way to communicate with Google Home.”
Google Home will also give the user the ability to request an alert, when the phone is turned on or the microphone is playing, said the Google product page.
The device has a USB Type-C port and it is capable of charging through a USB-C cable.
The USB Type C port will be the one used by the Home Appliant when it comes to connectivity to Google’s cloud services, which include Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Home.
The company said the Home appliance will be available from June, with a price of Rs. 9,999.
The search giant has recently announced plans to launch an Alexa-powered device that will allow users to ask Google Home about events or commands.
The Alexa-enabled device will come with a built in speaker and a built up memory capacity of up to 2GB.
The Alexa-equipped device will be priced at Rs. 7,999, while Home Appliks will cost Rs. 4,999 for the two-pack of appliances.
