By now, most people have heard of the new Amazon Echo Dot, which is an $79.99, two-way wireless speaker that you plug into your TV and then you’re done.
But in 2018, Kam is taking its low-end Kitchen Aid appliance to a new level.
Kam says it’s launching a $149.99 “kitchen appliance” called the Kam-B3, which it says can make up to 20,000 meals in a year.
The device is powered by a 20-watt motor and is able to cook for $10 per day (or about $4.35 per day in the US).
It’s also got an optional 8-inch touchscreen, which lets you cook from the kitchen, or even eat dinner while your phone is in the living room.
There’s no word on how long it will last.
Kam-K3 is launching in the United States later this month.
Kam also plans to bring its KitchenAid dishwasher, which sells for $149 in the U.S., to market later this year.
“We’re excited to be able to offer affordable, convenient, and environmentally-friendly appliance cooking,” Kam CEO and cofounder Daniel Lebovitz said in a statement.
“Kitchen appliances are the new kitchen utensils that have made cooking so much easier.”
