Marcos appliances are getting smarter.
The company is partnering with Nest, maker of the smart home network and the Nest Learning Thermostat, to offer a smart thermostat app that lets homeowners control and control their appliances remotely from their smartphones.
The Nest Learning thermostats will be available on Feb. 18.
The app can be downloaded on the Google Play store for $29.99.
The device, which is available in four colors, features a large touchscreen that can be swiped from the left side of the device to the right.
Marcos will also offer a Nest Learning app that will help homeowners connect the thermostatic appliances to the Internet.
The software will let homeowners control the thermo-electricity and temperature of the home and control lighting and other devices.
Marci Crain, senior vice president of product management for Marcos, told Business Insider that the company has been working on smart home software for years.
In fact, the company partnered with Nest to create the Nest Thermostatic for Home, which includes the thermonaut and a smart bulb.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with Marcos and Nest to offer this very smart home experience,” Crain said.
The thermostater app lets homeowners set a custom temperature and light schedule.
The temperature and brightness of the appliances will be set remotely using a smartphone app.
Crain told Business Insider that the app is similar to Nest’s Home app for iOS and Android, which allows users to set their own temperature and schedule.
She said the app works like the Nest app for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and the smart thermos is just a thin layer on top.
Marcus has been rolling out new features in the Nest thermostator app, like an infrared camera and remote control for the thertoid, which will allow users to control the device remotely.
The smart thermometer also lets users see how much electricity and how much heat the device is consuming.
The product will be compatible with smart homes from all the major brands and manufacturers, including Philips, LG, GE, Samsung, Sony, and Lenovo.
Crowley said the Marcos app will allow homeowners to control their thermostatically powered appliances remotely.
She explained that a home’s thermostately controlled appliances are connected to a Nest thertophone, which connects to the network through a USB-C cable.
The appliance can then send alerts to the Nest network via Bluetooth.
Marco said it will offer additional features, like remote control of lighting, which Crain described as a big change from Nest’s Smart Home suite.
Crowsley said Marcos is partnering up with Nest for the Nest Smart Home, an app that brings together a home and smart home ecosystem, including smart thermo sensors, a lighting system, and remote access.
“Marcos is one of the leading brands that has made a significant contribution to the Smart Home ecosystem, and we are excited to have Marcos on board to continue to build on Nest’s leadership and expand its offerings,” Crowsleysaid.
The Marcos appliance will be the first smart home device to be supported by Nest’s Nest Learning software.
The Smart Home Suite is a suite of smart home products that allows users control, monitor, and control many of the devices in their homes.
Marcoles smart home app will also integrate Nest Learning, allowing users to connect Nest thermos to the internet to control and monitor their home’s energy, water, and other energy consumption.
Marcius thermostato app is available on Android and iOS.
The smartphone app will have a home screen that can display energy and water usage, as well as temperature and other metrics for the appliance.
Marcos said it is working with Nest on a software update for the smart ovens that will enable users to adjust the temperature and lighting settings in the oven, as opposed to relying on a Nest remote control app.
MarCos is also working on a new smart home suite for the kitchen.
Cains said the company is working on adding smart thermic sensors for the ovens and heating system to the new appliances.
